What can we learn by observing others communicate or relate, leaving the trace of a story arch as testament to something having happened. 

And what “Others” are good to observe? 

A group of workshop participants recently appropriated the invitation to observe and explore the question in both verbal and non verbal ways. The Other in the relating process could be either human or more-than-human. It turns out that an Arboretum is a fine place for engaging a range of species and learning from the poise and seemingly quiet unhurried  presence of trees. Magnolia, Plane and Copper Beech offered us fine metaphors with which to work.
