A solo workshop en tête à tête, an opportunity to spend time with a little girl who has lots to tell and more to share. Like many urban children she is more regularly engaged by the silver screen or gaming than by hands on sensory rich play.

This eight year old, who has difficulties paying attention, was able to slow down, focus on the job at hand and complete each step of the task with joy and confidence, making excellent suggestions and personal modifications along the way.

When next I see her, the first thing she explains, very matter of fact, is that she made sure to move her terrarium away from the very sunny window since she noticed the light was coming into her flat.
